WELCOME

The Engineers Club is a social organization which meets regularly for lunch with a speaker on a technical topic. Spouses are invited and many attend regularly. Short field trips are occasionally scheduled. Membership is open to anyone who has worked in or had close ties to the engineering or scientific fields. Meetings are held at 11:30am on the first Friday of each month, October through June, at Briarwood Country Club, 135th and Meeker in Sun City West, Arizona.

Our monthly newsletter provides information about upcoming programs and club activities. A new edition is published on this web site about two weeks before each meeting, and copies are distributed at the meeting.

Meetings                Map 

Meetings are held at 11:30am on the first Friday of each month, October through June, at Briarwood Country Club, 20800 North 135th Avenue, just north of West Meeker Boulevard, in Sun City West, Arizona.


Reservations       Reservations Information

Reservations for luncheon meetings can be made by contacting Reservations Chairperson, Gene Comstock, through e-mail at reservations@engineersaz.com or by phone at 623-546-9112. (INDICATE THE MONTH OF THE MEETING, YOUR NAME, THE NAMES OF ANY GUESTS, AND CHOICE OF STANDARD ENTREE OR FRUIT PLATE.)  Visitors are always welcome--just make a reservation.


Field Trips           Field Trip Information

Field Trips are scheduled periodically and announced on this web site as well as in the monthly newsletter. Reservations are usually required and can be made through the Field Trips page of this web site or by calling the Field Trips Chairperson, Dave Whitehouse at 623-544-0942.


Scholarships     Scholarship Information

Almost since its inception, the Engineers Club has provided a scholarship to a qualified student aspiring to a Baccalaureate degree in Engineering.  Currently, ten dollars of the annual dues of each Club member are designated to the Scholarship Fund to provide a $2,000 scholarship each calendar year.
